This collage expresses the healing that is being loved despite the mistakes I've made, how the person I am now is not someone the person who hurt me would recognize, and the love that remains after a breakup, the healing that is loving.

 

This work was originally published in Beneath the Soil Volume iii, a collaborative zine featuring artwork from queer survivors of sexual violence.

  • Donovan is a white queer person who loves music, writing and collaging. They have been working for Time To Tell since 2020, and are working on an MSW. Their greatest riches are the people that they love and the laughter they share with them.
